Spring registration is underway and I want to encourage all of you to keep signing up for recreation programs at our parks and playgrounds. Our programs are some of the best deals in the city and we have programs and classes for everyone in the family--- after school programs for the kids, yoga for mom and basketball for dad.
Also, it’s never too early to start thinking about summer. Summer day camp registration begins on March 20, so take this opportunity to review our available camps online at http://www.sfreconline.org/, sign up for a family account and get ready to register.
This summer, with the absence of public summer school in the city, the Recreation and Park Department is committed to filling the void by increasing our summer camp offerings by 38 percent. We are offering 64 total camps, 542 total weeks of programming and more than 16,000 slots. Our Learn to Swim lessons will increase by an amazing 400 percent.
